Project summary
This private homeowner installed the SpeeTherm15 system on the ground floor, finishing it with laminate flooring.
In what type of home did you install your heating system?
In a renovated corner house. The roof was insulated, the windows replaced with double glazing, and the walls were insulated.
How many people are in your household?
Two.
How did you come across WARP Systems?
Through radio advertising and online ads.
Why did you choose a low-temperature hydronic heating and cooling system?
Because neither of us are fans of radiators, and underfloor heating is a very pleasant way to heat. It also adds a touch of luxury to your home.
Do you think sustainability is important? Why or why not?
Absolutely! It’s better for the environment and your wallet.
Do you have specific sustainability goals for the future?
A heat pump and solar panels.
What convinced you to choose self-installation?
We did, it’s been two years since we started renovating our house ourselves, and we saw this as another great DIY challenge.
How did you experience the installation overall?
Overall it went well. You explore the system at each step and then it takes off like a rocket.
Which aspects were easier than expected?
Installing the metal panels, every strip fit perfectly, and we immediately recognized the “skyscraper” pattern from the manual.
Which aspects required extra effort?
Mounting the manifold, it was completely different from what was shown in the manuals and instruction videos.
Did you use the installation tools and instruction videos? If so, how helpful were they?
Both the installation tools and videos were a great help. They clarified the process and assisted us in installing the underfloor heating.
