A detached house from 1937.

How did you come across WARP Systems?
Via Google.

Why did you choose a low-temperature hydronic heating and cooling system?
Because we switched to a heat pump.

Do you think sustainability is important? Why or why not?
Not really. We had concrete over cold ground and had to excavate the entire area so an extra 2 or 3 centimetres did not matter.

Do you have specific sustainability goals for the future?
In addition to the current rooms we want to renovate the kitchen next year.

What convinced you to choose self-installation?
We have been transforming our 1937 home for three years and do almost everything ourselves so this was a logical next step.

How did you experience the installation overall?
In our front house we used foam concrete with traditional underfloor heating which was very hard to lay ourselves. Choosing WARP was logical given that earlier difficult experience. WARP was very easy to lay as expected.

Which aspects were easier than expected?
Everything went about as easily as we had anticipated.

Which aspects required extra effort?
We realised too late that we needed the extra stabilisation floor so we had to make an additional trip to Nieuwkoop. Our preparation could have been better.

Did you use the installation tools and instruction videos? If so, how helpful were they?
Not really, that is not in our nature. However it would have been helpful because then we would have noticed the need for the stabilisation floor earlier.
